Mrs. Mason is the assistant principal for the Lawton Public Schools Virtual Academy. She is under the direct supervision of Mr. Jay Lehr, the head principal of Gateway Success Center and BRIDGE Academy. She began her career in education in 2009 as a long-term substitute at Eisenhower High School. After a year in permanent substitute position, she was hired full time for the 2010 school year. She taught at Eisenhower as an English teacher and yearbook adviser until May of 2019; she transitioned into the roll as assistant principal in the summer of 2019 and helped LPS launch the virtual academy. Mrs. Mason has two master’s degrees from Cameron University in Education and Educational Leadership.
