Are you considering a career in teaching, but need some guidance on how to make that happen? Then CU Become a Teacher Workshops are built for you! These workshops are designed to guide those in other fields or paraprofessionals in education on how to become a certified teacher! Whether you have no college hours, some college hours, or a college degree, we will help you find the right pathway for you to teach in Oklahoma.
Teachers are in high demand across Oklahoma and surrounding states. In the past several years, more than 90% of Cameron’s undergraduate education graduates who sought employment in teaching secured positions. You can join them! Cameron’s undergraduate Education classes are not just about sitting in a classroom. Our students get hands-on learning with many opportunities for field experiences in public schools. When you become a teacher, you’ll be prepared with the help of Cameron’s education programs!
We are hosting a workshop at Cameron University at the CETES Conference Center on Wednesday, December 14th from 5:30-7:30. Dinner will be provided for registered participants. For more information or to register, visit www.cameron.edu/CUTeach. For further inquiries, email CUTeach@cameron.edu or call the School of Graduate & Professional Studies at 580-581-2339.
